Sean is six months old today.
He gets unhappy if left on his back too long.
He gets unhappy if left on his front to long.
He gets unhappy if he drops something he has been playing with and enjoying.
He gets unhappy if one of his siblings takes something out of his hands that he has been enjoying.
Yet he is a very happy, communicative baby, who lets us know what he needs and we happily take care of them (well maybe we’re not alway happy about the nappies).
He loves interacting with his family and anyone else he can entice with his beautiful, interested expressions. When I move in close he loves to reach out with both hand and gently touch my face. He explores my face with his eyes and smiles while he’s doing it. He also gently holds my hair in his hand and seems to be absorbing how it looks and how it feels.
And he loves to stand. I think it might be his favortite thing to do at the moment. He laughs as he holds himself erect and looks very pleased about it all.
He is well loved and we are all very happy that he is part of our family 🙂
